I noticed that there are not many SS around dwelling in pko =P I decided to make a guide xD Lets call it:

FurryFish#DY#s PKO adventure

My opinion about SS -

Many may say SS are imba weak - I can only say in a war, every single trooper plays a part - An advisor gives advise, a soldier fight and dies (lol!), an assassin kills the superiors and so on.
SS to me plays a part of support and of course when theres a chance, kill -
SS is arguably the best hunter in game! If you are looking for fast ?? at late lvl, go for SS =P

Theres a few builds I would mention here in this guide:

Pure ACC - Agi build
Pure AGI - Acc build
ACC - Agi hybrid build
CON - Acc build

First of all before I would go into the builds, skill build is similar to all SS out there =X

All skills go by sequence of which to learn/max first.

Skill Build:

Hunter:

Pets:

A pet is a need for all classes... As for SS, go for pure ACC pet, DON#DY#T EVER get a agi pet - U will definitely regret =X

Now back to builds, the first and most common build I would talk about is -

Stats Build:

ACC - Agi hybrid build

This build is the ¡°High damage output¡± build, easy to train and has the highest damage output from level 10 to level 60

Basically is to add ACC to 60 base then agi till attack speed with gun is about 110, then back to ACC, your source of damage to 80 base and back to agi.

By the time u reach 80 acc base, u are already lvl 65 =P

Pros & Cons:

Decent max damage and speed, average of both - Cannot kill champion with this build =X

Pure ACC - Agi build (My build)

This build is the ¡°Highest damage¡± build, if you are going for high damage and critical rate, go for this build

As it says pure ACC, adding ACC to 100 base is a must - By then you will be lvl 64 with 1 point remaining to agi and yay! Finally u have 1 point to agi which makes ur attack speed about 80 =.=

Most people may say having high agi to have a higher damage output/10second but that only works for lvl 60 and below because theres no more low defense mobbie, the last u can find is Guardian Angel (lv56) and that#DY#s all - Fortune, Summer and chill mobs have higher defense so to even damage them you need decent max attack of approximately 800 and above (Sorry agi SS pls restart your char if you intend to go further)

Pros & Cons:

High max damage, can kill champ with this build and 1 cripple + crit many other no con characters, Harder to train as u shoot like a snail and I really mean snail -

Pure AGI - Acc build

Low damage, shoot like a machine gunner =X

ACC to 20 base then agi all the way to 100

Pros & Cons:

Low max damage, shoot really fast and easiest to train from level 1-59. Why lvl59? Because the last low def mobbie u can find is guardian north of thundoria which u can damage them =X

CON - Acc build

A very unique build which FunkyGWilliams from bridge is testing on, I personally tested a lvl 56 pure con SS. U get 3.1k hp at lvl 56 with 86 con =X that is very high for a SS - By lvl 70 you should have about 5k hp with 65unseal armor +3 shining gem and 100 con.

This build is just for pvp purpose - to survive a slash from most SS that#DY#s all =P

Now for Leveling, here#DY#s the guide:

Leveling Guide:

Lvl 10-21
Just shoot around while exploring icicle =P Try to find spots with trees where u can find and of course, for lvl 13 and above I suggest Snowy Bear Cubs(lv22) and Na?ve Snowdolls (lv21) cause they have low def and hp. You can also open lucky packets till u level up XD

Lvl 21-25
Mad boars (lv30) at Valhalla haven, paper mobs with 700 hp

Lvl 25-30
Playful snowdolls (lv34) low def and hp, easy for you but it has a small range, make use of frozen arrows and dual shot to kill it before it reaches u - To play safe u can also train at mad boar to 30

Lvl 30-40
I suggest you grind Ferocious Scorpions (lv38) till you can kill treants, training will be tough before SS but once u turn SS, things change completely

Lvl 40-45
Treants and only treants

Lvl 45-50
There is a spot with Undead Warrior (lvl52) west of thundoria castle (500, 1750)

Lvl 50-60
Go for guardian angels (lv56) but becareful they got range spells, use ur enfeeble and bring cakes along (If you go for the hybrid build, you can try forest hunters)

Lvl 60-65
Fortune isle or isle of chill, dependant on how lag u are in game and how strong your equipment is - take exp gained per 15mins and compare which is better
P.S. Fortune isle is a place where u start to see multi millions coming in - that is where u will earn ur unseal equipments =X

Lvl 65-77
I#DY#m sorry but I think you have to grind Summer#DY#s Evil Tribal Warrior (lv72) =P I can ensure you that SS training in summer alone will be more enjoyable then you think - Every few minutes u will see 80k gold (MC) on the floor and occasionally an equipment drop =X and what#DY#s the best, you don#DY#t have to share them with others!

Equipment Guide:

Go for agi/acc equipments. Since SS equipments are cheap, you can probably buy a +9-12 acc glove for SS - If I got 10m now and only has chest equipments, I will spend them on gemming my glove to +3 striking and of course on a 10acc and above gloves which is worth gemming. To make things look nice, add Explosion Gem +3 to have lightning effect on your gun - It looks really nice!

The best gun for training would be spectre gun (lv55) which doesn#DY#t reduces attack speed, 65unseal is for bossing and pvp/mvm - Try to find a good stats spectre gun and train with it. The next best gun is Venom Striker (lv70) gun which is super rare and I believe nobody has it yet =P

Damage Received Guide:

Tested And Proven!

This may be what many have been waiting for! First of all thanks to whitey, YxXsoulXxY, Tboy and xTeaBox for testing damage with me ^^ (though i lost alot of honor for that >
Heres my final conclusion of damage intake...

Theres 3 parts of calculation to the final damage intake of ur character, this part of the guide is open for everybody, not just SS!

Quote:

Part 1:

Level Difference Modifier (LDM):

1-5 lvls difference = 2.5% damage
5-10 lvls difference = 5% damage

Eg. if I am lvl 70 and a lvl 75 crus cuts me with 1k attack, his attack will be 1000 * 102.5% = 1025 instead, and if a lvl 64 crus cuts me with 1k attack his attack will be 1000 * 95% = 950 attack instead~ 6lvls difference falls under 5-10 lvl difference category.

Part 2:

Physical Resistance (PR) and Defense (Def) Modifier:

PR will be calculated first before Def.

Eg. If the same lvl 75 crus cuts me, now his modified damage is 1025, then I will recieve
1025 * PR - Def and If the 64 crus cuts me, same thing... it will be 950 * PR - Def

Part 3:

Skill Modifier:

This part is tricky... I only manage to come out with IS conclusion for now...

IS Has different modifier at 70 attack speed (aspd), 140 aspd and 210 aspd.

70aspd modifier = 2.5x
140aspd modifier = unknown, needs a tester
210aspd modifier = 8x

Lets take the same crus for example, slashing on me with 2 def rings

a Lvl 75 crus with 1k average attack will do this amount of slash on me with 27PR and 191 def.

Damage Intake: ((Damage * LDM) *(100-PR) -Def) * Skill Modifier
Thus: ((1000 * 102.5%) * (100-27%)- 191) * 8 = (1025 * 73% - 191) * 8 = 557.25 * 8
Conclusion: I will receive 4458 damage on an average

The same Lvl 64 crus with 1k average attack will do this amount of slash on me

Damage Intake: ((1000 * 95%) * (100-27%) -191) * 8 = 502.5 * 8 = 4020 damage received.

Conclusion, dont think of surviving IS now SS... just wait for arena challenge.

The damage modifier in arena challenge applies 50% reduction in melee and attack speed

New calculation in the new PK arena challenge which will bring great rewards upon victory.

Lvl 75 crus with 1k average attack again... lets assume he manage to get 210spd after 50% reduction though its near impossible unless pure agi... and pure agi wont get 1k attack =X. After LDM attack will be 1025 again so this is the new calculation

((1025 * 50%) * 73% - 191) * 8 =(512.5 * 73% - 191) * 8 = 1465 damage slash

*notice* Damage and speed reduction applies in china and its not proven in SG yet so don#DY#t take it for real!!! *notice*

A Suggestion to all SS out there, if ur computer can support dual client, plvl a lvl 31 herbalist with pure spr and maxed spiritual fire and tempest boost for training - It will make a HUGE!!! Difference in training and hunting
